Dan’s Weekly Watchlist for August 27, 2025

Stocks remain volatile. Investors are optimistic on potential rate cuts, but caution dominates as consumer confidence dips and markets digest recent gains.

Here’s what I’m looking at now…

HOW TO USE THESE:

  • Check the chart and see if they’re moving, breaking out, having a follow-thru day, etc.

  • You can play by buying options or stock

  • Know what levels you’re entering and exiting

Watch List Picks:

  • RGTI & QBTS: Quantum tech stocks surging on AI-fueled momentum and sector breakthroughs.

  • WOLF: Semiconductor play, recently restructured, riding the AI and EV wave.

  • SMCI: Leading AI hardware provider with strong demand for infrastructure upgrades.

  • BMNR & APLD: Crypto infrastructure names rallying as digital assets break out.

  • OPEN: Volatile “meme stock” for speculative traders.

  • WMT: Steady retail giant near technical buy levels; a safer pick amid volatility.

Monitor these names for breakouts, high volume moves, or technical signals. Stay nimble as conditions can shift quickly this week.

If you’re unsure about how to trade these names…

It makes sense to talk to one of our traders and learn how to start using my tips for yourself.

No matter what age you’re at or trading skill level…

If you have $5,000, you can start comfortably trading.
